Salary: $153,272 - $218,960/year DOQ + excellent benefits.

Located by the coast in north San Diego County, SEJPA provides clean water services, wastewater treatment, water reclamation, and other services. SEJPA’s Fiscal Year 2024-2025 budget is $16,561,046. The Director of Finance & Administration plans, organizes, and directs SEJPA’s financial, information technology services, and human resources activities and is supported by a team of six highly motivated professionals and responsible. The ideal candidate is a well-rounded, motivational leader who is highly skilled at balancing a several priorities simultaneously. They are a self-starter with strong organizational, administrative, and analytical skills and abilities; an excellent communicator who is adept at managing staff and prioritizing work; someone who is strategic, detail-oriented, open, and honest. They have a penchant for streamlining processes, increasing productivity, and driving organizational effectiveness.

Requires four-year college degree in accounting, finance, public/business administration, or a related field PLUS 10 years of increasingly responsible budgetary and finance experience AND 5 years’ supervisory experience. CPA preferred.
