Located in southwest Riverside County, Rancho Water supports over $1.3 billion in economic activity and is actively involved in addressing imported water supply availability, system capacity constraints, rising imported water costs, water quality issues, and recycled water. The Assistant General Manager - Engineering and Operations is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing Engineering, Operations, and Maintenance functions and ensuring the reliable and efficient delivery of clean and safe water, wastewater, and recycled water services while adhering to regulatory and environmental standards. This person represents the District in interagency projects and programs, industry activities, and securing external funding, and participates in regulatory and policy discussions and activities.
Requires equivalent to Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering, Engineering Management, or Public or Business Administration; 10 years of increasing management responsibility; 5 years of supervisory experience; and 3 to 5 years in the water, wastewater and/or utility industry. Desired: Master’s Degree and/or valid professional Civil Engineer registration.
Salary: $199,000 - $259,000 DOQ + benefits.
