American Dream Search has partnered with one of the fastest growing Metal Roofing & Siding companies in the United States on a General Manager search.
Summary (About this Position):
We are looking for an Outside Sales Representative with at least two years of outside B2B sales experience. The Outside Building Sales Representative is responsible for selling building packages, with a primary clientele of homeowners, farmers, contractors, and business owners. This position will be integrated into all aspects of a sale, from advertising and design to closing. Outstanding customer service and relationship building is key.
Your Profile (Required background)
- 2+ years outside business-to-business sales with a proven track record of success.
- Must have reliable transportation
- Good Driving record, able to meet driving qualifications
- Must present and communicate in a professional manner.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to design and sell outdoor building projects.
- General building construction knowledge is preferable but not necessary.
- High School Degree, required
- Bachelor's Degree, preferred
Job Duties:
- Create an effective territory plan detailing marketing trends of the territory area, volume, and pricing strategies to maintain profitable sales and competition with competitors.
- Use industry leading estimating software to design, quote, and sell building packages.
- Identify leads, manage prospects and acquire new business while maximizing long-term profitability by building and sustaining strong, engaged relationships with customers.
- Travel to job sites to regularly meet with customers throughout all phases of the building process.
- Maintain understanding of customer project needs by advising and consulting with customers to design a building that aligns with their needs, maintains structural integrity, and meets local building codes and restrictions.
- Maintain a focus on quality control of material lists and invoices.
- Coordinate order fulfillment, bidding projects, and pricing.
- Meet or exceed the new and existing business sales goals.
- Complete scheduled and cold call prospecting activities to establish first and follow-up appointments with customer decision makers.
- Prepare and deliver sales proposals/presentations and follow up with key decision makers.
- Regularly meet with the General Manager to review weekly sales activities, progress on goals, and status of prospective customers.
- Other duties, as assigned.
Compensation & Benefits:
- $58,000 Base (draw)
- 3.5% Commission + mileage
