Description:
Busy Pain Management practice seeks an experienced Nurse Practitioner. This position is ideal for an individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment where multi-tasking skills are key. Your work will have a high degree of responsibility and independence as well as working in a team environment that boosts motivation and workplace morale. This position offers the opportunity to serve directly under one of our physicians as a specialized patient care team member at our full-service Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and Pain Management practice. We provide diagnosis, medication management, interventional care, patient care, patient education, as well as alternative therapies. The ability to effectively build and manage relationships with our patient community is critical to the success of our practice. Must be able to work within the scope of practice guidelines and appropriately direct patients for follow-up care as their healthcare needs dictate.
The scope of Practice includes:
-Seeing follow-up patients for chronic pain.
-Majority of the patient population is Worker’s Compensation patients
-The schedule is Monday - Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm; no on call
-Knowledge of IMS/Medisoft EMR and Scheduling software is preferred but not required
Compensation will be based on experience.
