Established in 2003, Attendant Care has provided exceptional home health, private duty nursing, and residential services to individuals with health and/or behavioral needs for 15 years.

In 2018 Attendant Care Companies expanded their service line to include providing services for individuals and families with Autism Spectrum Disorder. We have since opened multiple Autism Centers, which provide ABA, OT & SLP for individuals with an Autism diagnosis.

Position Overview:

The Autism Diagnostic Evaluator is responsible for providing comprehensive diagnostic evaluations to diagnose Autism Spectrum Disorders and recommend appropriate treatment. The Autism Diagnostic Evaluator may also provide additional supports to children and families impacted by Autism Spectrum Disorder.

Job Duties

  • Conduct comprehensive diagnostic evaluations to diagnose Autism Spectrum Disorder in children and adolescents.
  • Provide support to children and families impacted by Autism Spectrum Disorder.
  • Collaborate with supervisory staff
  • Maintain respect and confidentiality of clients
  • Maintain and protect the well-being of clients during treatment sessions

Essential Functions:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
  • Ability to work cooperatively as a team member and independently
  • Ability to work with a diverse population of special-needs children and their families
  • Knowledge and experience with Autism Spectrum Disorders and differential diagnosis


  • Education: Doctoral Degree or Masters Degree in a license eligible field.
  • Licensed as a Psychologist, LPC, LCSW, or LMFT
  • Experience: Experience conducting assessments and treatment to children and adolescents diagnosed with Autism. Must have strong knowledge and experience using autism specific diagnostic assessments including, but not limited to the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule (ADOS-2), Autism Diagnostic Interview-Revised (ADI-R), Child Autism Rating Scale, 2nd Edition (CARS2), and Social Responsiveness Scale-2 (SRS).
Willing to provide services in the office, telehealth, and in-home settings.
