Back-End Python Engineer

Remote (Eastern Time Zone preferred)

Salary: $160k cap

**About the Role**

We are seeking a strong Back-End Engineer to join our dynamic team. You will work primarily with Python and Django, contributing to the development of features that empower companies to create impactful change. You will help integrate with third-party APIs like Slack, Teams, and Zoom, ensuring seamless user experiences. This role is 95% back-end, with some exposure to front-end technologies, though front-end expertise is not required.

 

**Key Responsibilities**

- Work on a variety of back-end tasks, from legacy systems to new feature development.

- Build and improve our Actions platform, enabling users to complete tasks and provide feedback efficiently.

- Design, develop, and maintain integrations with third-party APIs, including Slack, Teams, and Zoom.

- Collaborate with a fast-paced, adaptive team to quickly ingest data and take actionable steps.

- Ensure the platform is scalable and supports expanded usage.

- Contribute to team discussions on enhancing company and individual performance, driving positive change for our customers.

 

**What We’re Looking For**

- Strong proficiency in Python and Django.

- Experience with FastAPI is a plus.

- Proven ability to integrate third-party APIs.

- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, adaptive environment.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to quickly understand and address challenges.

- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote team.

- Passionate about making a difference in how companies improve and care for their people.

**Nice to Have**

- Familiarity with front-end technologies, though not required.

- Previous experience in remote teams across multiple time zones.
