We are looking for a Manager of DevOps/SRE with extensive Cloud based infrastructure knowledge to sit in our New York office and own our company wide DevOps culture. If you are a strong leader with extensive knowledge in the space, then we want to hear from you.

 

What is the job?

 

We need to scale. You will completely own our company wide DevOps practices on a global scale. You will set the direction and manage engineers around North America. You will be hands-on identifying gaps in our processes and putting the right people, architecture, and solutions in place.

You are an experienced hands-on Engineering Manager with expertise in the DevOps and Cloud space. You bring a rare combination of Leadership and Cloud expertise, with a strong understanding of cloud business processes. You exemplify excellence and are capable of working with distributed teams. You bring a resilient mentality, with the creativity to solve high pressure issues as they arise.

What technical expertise do you bring? In-depth knowledge of the following..

 

 

• AWS and/or GCP: We run a multi-region distributed hybrid cloud environment

• Containers: Docker orchestrated on Kubernetes

• Configuration Management: Salt, Chef, Ansible, etc.

• Python, Go, Ruby

• CI/CD: Jenkins, etc.

• Linux

 

++ Experience with Istio and Spinnaker
