How would you like to be a Senior Statistical Modeler at a leading business financial lender? This is a great opportunity for an experienced modeler to take on a highly visible and impactful role, which can be done remotely.

What's The Job?

As a Senior Statistical Modeler on our team, you'll be building advanced mathematical/statistical models using both internal and external datasets.

You will be responsible for all aspects of the model development and implementation lifecycle, as well as ongoing monitoring and enhancement of the models for credit risk, marketing, and operations.

Expect to use Credit Bureau data, using reject inference techniques, to create robust credit scorecard models.

This is a highly visible role where you will present your work to stakeholders, including C-suite executives.

The role can be undertaken remotely, or you can work out of the NYC or Miami offices at your convenience.

Requirements:

• US Citizen or Green Card Holder residing in the USA (no visa sponsorship available)
• Master's or PhD in Statistics, Math, or equivalent field
• 5+ years experience building mathematical/statistical models (regressions, decision trees, random forest, gradient boosting, etc.)
• Tech: Python, R, SQL, SAS, Excel
• Experience implementing reject inference techniques to improve the quality of credit scorecards
• Experience utilizing credit bureau data/reports
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the proven ability to translate/present complex modeling results to a non-technical audience

 

Compensation:

• $160,000 - $190,000 Base Salary
• 10% bonus

• Fully remote (or can work out of NYC or Miami offices when/if you choose)
