We are looking for a DevOps Engineer with in depth MySQL and AWS knowledge to join our infrastructure team and have a huge impact on the company moving forward.

We have a massive road map ahead of us, which includes an international offering in 2019. We have some serious technology problems to solve. Some of the questions we are facing from a technology perspective include:

• How do you build a platform that integrates with other brands?

• How do you enable developers to quickly spin up environments and ship software for ad-hoc events?

• How do you create secure APIs to back those applications?

As we expand our services we expect to increase our foothold in the industry and drive extensive amounts of traffic to our website and platform. We need engineers who can work at scale. At peak periods we currently receive 650k requests per second.

Who are you?

You are a DevOps Engineer and first and foremost you have a strong database background in MySQL and know it in-and-out. You have extensive AWS knowledge and you understand when and why to use various features in different environments.

You ideally bring strong configuration management experience with Ansible or Chef as we are currently migrating to Ansible. You also work with HashiCorp tools, particularly terraform.

We have a few micro-services in place and it would be beneficial if you brought production experience with Docker. We are not currently running Kubernetes, but is a direction we are looking to go, so any experience with K8s is a plus!

Technical must haves for this role are:

• MySQL

• AWS - Amazon Web Services Expertise

• Ansible and/or Chef

• Terraform
