We are looking for a Senior Cloud Security Engineer with strong experience in AWS Security experience to work in conjuction with our advanced DevOps Team!  This is a senior level full time permanent role in Midtown Manhattan.

What is the job?

 

• Working closely with our DevOps, Software Engineering, and IT Teams to insure that our complex cloud platform is fully secured
• Vulnerability / Patch Management
• Intrusion Detection
• Penetration Testing
• Manage our Controls, Vendor Integration, and insure that our systems and our partners systems are secure
• Search for weaknesses in our AWS / Docker/ Kubernetes Infrastructure
• Automation of basic security tasks (blocking IP's system - wide etc...)
• Be the right hand of our VP of Security and grow with the team

 

What skills are we looking for?

• Strong Production Experience Securing and AWS Infrastructure In Production
• Strong fundamentals in the security space such as :
• Penetration Testing
• Vulnerability Management
• Incident Response
• Solid Automation & Scripting Skills (Python is a PLUS)
• Someone who is active in the security community (conferences, meetups, etc...)
