Are you an established Data Engineer, interested in a contract role at one of the largest and fastest growing media companies?

 

What's the Job?

 

As a Data Engineer, your day to day responsibilities will be primarily focused on working with our Principal Data Engineers in building data pipelines to 3rd party APIs and improving performance of queries and data jobs while scaling the system for exponential growth in data. You are expected to be able to hit the ground running to help build out these data pipelines and take on any additional data engineering requests that may be presented.

 

This is a 6+ contract opportunity, with the strong potential of becoming a permanent, full-time position. The role is 5 days a week, on site in our in-house headquarters located in Dumbo (Brooklyn).

 

What Skills Do You Need?

 

• Strong experience building data pipelines

• Strong knowledge of Relational and Columnar Databases (BigQuery or Redshift)

• A big plus if you know Python, Java, Scala, or Luigi

 

Compensation?

 

• $75 - $120 an hour
