We are looking for a Manager of Data Science to manage a small team of four data scientists at one of the world's most exciting, well-known broadcast media companies in the world.

What's the Job?

 

We are bringing on a Manager of Data Science here in our offices in Midtown Manhattan. As a Manager, this is what your role will look like:

 

• You will be overseeing a team of 4 data scientists

 

• This is a cross-functional role across our parent company where you will be overseeing and hand-ons developing models around viewing habits of our broadcast and digital content, ticketing prices of our properties, management of future sports programming schedules, etc..

 

• You will report to a Senior Vice President of Data Science

 

• You will be working with large datasets from the massive amount of data we collect in various different departments of our companies

 

• Your role will include hiring, mentorship, and providing professional and intellectual advice to your team

 

• You will have the opportunity to advance your career as a Senior Director in the future

 

Compensation?

 

• $175,000 - $215,000 base compensation

 

• 20% Bonus

What Skills Do You Need?

 

• Experience managing other data scientists

 

• Machine Learning experience and interest in the latest data science methodologies

 

• We are open to subject-matter experience: Media is great, but we are open-minded

 

• You should have a Masters or Ph.D. in a STEM field
