We need a Data Engineer excited to use the latest technologies to handle our big data and help us achieve our goals for 2018.

 

What's the Job?

 

We are a leading Data Science and AI research and analytics firm providing data-driven solutions for financial institutions, technology companies, and others with a focus on pioneering new approaches to solving problems.

 

We work with companies one-on-one to solve their problems. You will be working on supporting the work of our data scientists and other engineers as they work hand-in-hand with our clients. You will be architecting solutions using the latest technologies (Spark, Hadoop, MapReduce, etc...). This will include large and big data sets of both structured and unstructured data.

 

The data you will be working with may range from data from a financial institution or from a travel company. You need to be able to communicate well, work in a fast-paced environment, and collaborate well with the rest of the team.

 

The team around you is full of highly skilled, technical engineers with years of experience. You will have the ability to both learn from others as well as lead and mentor younger engineers.

 

Compensation

 

• $110,000 - $130,000

Skills

 

• You should be using the latest technologies including Spark, Hadoop, MapReduce

 

• Cloud experience, including AWS, Azure or GCP

 

• Strong academic background

 

• Experience working with big data sets
