What’s the job?

Our software that tracks content in real-time across the social web. We collect and analyze over 3 billion points of data each day for content creation, organic sharing and paid distribution. Our core high concurrency area is builtwith GO. We have a number of things currently written in Python for distributed systems and Microservices, but are actually looking at moving this from Python to GO.

Massive performance is not easy to scale, but we’ve found that GO is good with concurrency and multi-threading. We are in the the first phases of designing and building a new product which will drastically increase our speed in accessing and analyzing data.

What do you need for this role?

You need to have minimally worked with GO at a production level.

Everything else is a plus:

• Python

• Vertica

• AWS

Who are we?

Our products are used by massive content producers like publishers, agencies and independent brands. We’ve hired a crazy smart data science team which has crunched the numbers, and built algorithms to identify trending content as it takes off.

We track over 40 Million articles across 7000 sites and use that data to understand exactly how any single article will trend. Being a big data company means that we store every share, click and page view for all your content. Want to know which author wrote the most tweeted articles in the politics section last week? We do that and a whole lot more.
