What you will do:
This role is responsible for building and managing various aspects of our web infrastructure focusing on continuous integration, automated software releases, configuration management and system management in a high-availability cloud environment. We currently have a team of 4 DevOps engineers and 3 Sys-admins in an agile environment so you will be joining a dynamic and interactive group of people.
Design and deploy applications utilizing components of the AWS stack (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) focusing on high-availability, fault tolerance and disaster recovery
Provides expertise regarding the integration, security and scalability of applications within the online Web infrastructure.
Ensures the integration of the Web servers and all other supporting systems.
Conducts performance tuning, load testing, optimization of information/data processing, maintenance and support of the production environment
Build and manage software delivery, systems integration, and developer support tools.
Knowledge of the Amazon Web Services (AWS) ecosystem, including EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, Lambda, API Gateway, CloudFormation and other core AWS technologies
Experience scripting with Python or Ruby
Sound technical understanding of Linux
Experience supporting high availability internet application environments that include web, application and database servers and load balancing systems
Experience with build and deployment automation tools (e.g. Maven, Jenkins, Bamboo)
Experience with build automation and configuration management tools (e.g. Puppet, Chef, Ansible)
