The firm is seeking a Citrix Systems Engineer to become an integral part of the Information Services Department. The Citrix Systems Engineer will work to continually improve the stability and performance of the firm’s IT desktop and software applications. The Systems Engineer reports to the Associate Director of Technology Operations and works with the Systems Engineers, Application Engineers, and, the firm’s technology infrastructure and information security teams to identify underlying issues and improve the performance of the firm’s desktop and applications.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE but are not limited to:
- Leads design, performance-monitoring, tuning, scripting, upgrades, and maintenance of production Citrix/Desktop systems
- Administration of Citrix/Desktops for maintenance, upgrades, and image maintenance/updates/upgrades
- Responsible for the workflow & handling of incident tickets, troubleshooting, and resolution
- Documents and tracks hardware and software configuration, migration, testing, and deployment solutions
- Plans and performs timely upgrades
- Supports applications, hardware, operating systems, and network infrastructure
- Make architectural and operational recommendations
- Collaborate with other IS teams to optimize systems performance and security protections
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Strong technical depth in Citrix virtual desktops, VMware, and Windows Operating Systems
- 10+ years of experience in virtual desktop, performance engineering, and systems engineering role
- Experience with Cloud Providers is a huge plus
