Our client's Interactive team puts user experience first. Our aim is to leave customers feeling more inspired, engaged and productive. An Interaction Designer takes on complex tasks and transforms them into intuitive and accessible interfaces for domain specialists ranging from intelligence analysts to portfolio managers.
At the heart, this role exists to help conceive and articulate interactive visual interfaces. You will create high level and/or detailed storyboards, mockups, and prototypes to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas. You'll work in a multidisciplinary, enthusiastic atmosphere to build reusable components, product concepts, and external visualization experiences.
Successful interfaces will combine exploratory data analysis with explanatory insights. You will gauge the usability of new and existing features, making constructive suggestions for incorporating editorial design and visualization to add narrative depth and simplify data exploration. We believe that interactive graphics can be a major differentiator and a critical tool for minimizing complexity.
Our client uses machine learning and natural language processing, along with a healthy dose of secret sauce, to automate the analysis of very large data sets. Our software crunches through the data to help our customers understand the world around them -- whether it is a stock they are tracking or an emerging geo-political event in a far flung part of the world. Our customers include analysts at some of the world’s largest corporations, financial institutions, and government agencies.
