Position: R&D Chef Manager

Location: Clifton, New Jersey area

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Food Science or Culinary degree from Culinary Institute of America

  • Culinary Training from Cordon Bleu is a plus

  • New Product development for Food Service

  • Creation of new frozen breaded and marinated Seafood

  • Create innovative Recipe Formulations

  • Develop New Flavor Profiles based on Customer specifications

  • Conduct Bench top Testing and Pilot Runs

  • Reverse Engineer Competitor Products

  • Identify and qualify new Supplier Ingredients

  • Transfer Recipes to Mass Production facilities overseas

  • Liaisons with Contract Manufacturers and co-packers

  • Understand Allergens and Labeling Requirements

  • Bilingual language proficiency preferred
