Position: Baker's Assistant
An experienced Assistant Baker who can prepare a variety of artisan breads, rolls, Italian desserts, pastries or other sweet goods.
- At least 2 years of Baking experience
- Assist in the production of all Bakery menu items, following company standards and recipes.
- Assist the Head Baker in the menu development and recipe standardization of new menu items
- Ensure presentation, design, and creativity of all items produced for the bakery and cafe
- Create custom Breads and desserts for special dietary requests (vegan, gluten free, Kosher, dairy free, etc...)
- Ensure compliance with all hygiene and food safety standards in all stages of food preparation.
- Maintain proper AIB storage of all bakery food items, including labeling and dating of items.
- Help control food costs and labor cost within budgetary constraints while maintaining consistent food quality.
