Position: Baker's Assistant

Location:

An experienced Assistant Baker who can prepare a variety of artisan breads, rolls, Italian desserts, pastries or other sweet goods.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of Baking experience
• Assist in the production of all Bakery menu items, following company standards and recipes.
• Assist the Head Baker in the menu development and recipe standardization of new menu items
• Ensure presentation, design, and creativity of all items produced for the bakery and cafe
• Create custom Breads and desserts for special dietary requests (vegan, gluten free, Kosher, dairy free, etc...)
• Ensure compliance with all hygiene and food safety standards in all stages of food preparation.
• Maintain proper AIB storage of all bakery food items, including labeling and dating of items.
• Help control food costs and labor cost within budgetary constraints while maintaining consistent food quality.
