Bemana is seeking a Control Systems Engineer to design, develop, test, and support industrial and municipal control systems. Our client is a Louisiana-licensed professional engineering firm and an established electrical and automation systems integrator with over 25 years of experience delivering turnkey solutions. They specialize in PLC and HMI/SCADA systems for industries including cement, food and beverage, water and wastewater, and pharmaceuticals.

Position Offers:

• Up to $120k base salary + potential profit sharing. If your target pay is higher, we still encourage you to apply—we could request adjustments based on experience and market conditions.

Core Responsibilities:

• Design industrial control systems, including hardware and software.
• Create and interpret engineering sketches, electrical drawings, and schematics.
• Use AutoCAD to produce or direct the production of final drawings.
• Program and configure PLCs, HMIs, drives, and control systems.
• Coordinate with drafting, shop, and wiring personnel during panel assembly.
• Perform electrical checkout, testing, and quality control.
• Participate in factory and client acceptance testing.
• Support system installation and startup at client sites.
• Communicate effectively with internal teams and customers.

Technical Skills:

• Windows operating systems and TCP/IP networking.
• AutoCAD, Microsoft Word and Excel.
• PLC programming (e.g., Allen-Bradley, Schneider, Siemens).
• HMI software (e.g., Wonderware, FactoryTalk).
• Distributed Control Systems (e.g., Honeywell, DeltaV, ABB).
• SCADA systems, particularly Rockwell, Aviva, and Ignition.
• Industrial instrumentation and ISA standards.
• Electrical wiring, ladder logic, and schematics.
• Variable frequency drives and drive system design.
• Ability to learn new software and systems as required.
