We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Generator Technician to join a well-established company in the Power Generation industry that is currently expanding their team in the Atlanta, GA Metro area.

In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing diesel and/or natural gas backup generators to ensure uninterrupted power supply to a critical data center site.

Position Offers

Experience

• Experience working on standby generators and related equipment up to 2 MW
• Able to conduct a load bank test and perform full PMs
• Natural gas and/or diesel engine knowledge
• ATS and switchgear experience preferred
• PLC engine and generator controllers experience
• Switchgear experience is a must for Mid Level tech.
• Emergency call mentality.

Responsibilities

• On location, M-F 8-5pm
• Service, repair, modify and diagnosis (variety of brands) standby power generators
• Perform failure analysis, emergency field service and/or repairs for customers
• Conduct start-ups, PM service and load bank tests
• Maintain and repair ATSs (both regular and bypass units)
• Work on a variety of commercial/industrial customer sites (hospitals, nursing homes, office buildings, fire stations, correctional facilities, events, etc).
