We are seeking a remote Product Controls Specialist to join a well-established company in the Power Generation industry that is currently expanding. 

Provide technical direction and expertise to support, design, and implement aftermarket solutions and field upgrades for Microgrid control systems including switchgear and generator products.

Position Offers:

• $40-$55/hr, depending on experience + OT opportunities. If your target pay is higher, we still encourage you to apply—we could request adjustments based on experience and market conditions

Qualifications:

• 4-6 years of commercial/industrial experience working on Generators, ATS/switchgear, and/or Paralleling Control systems.
• Experience in reading and understanding Electrical and Mechanical Schematics and Engineer of Record Drawings.
• Commissioning and field experience are recommended.
• Ability to troubleshoot Switchgear and/or PowerGen equipment and systems.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Up to 85% travel required.
• Work on industrial equipment including switchgear/switchboards, Diesel and Gas generators, outdoors, around metal welding, forming, cutting and other industrial processes.
• Manual dexterity to operate digital equipment, including computers and PLC’s, protective relays, controllers and other such equipment with small fine buttons and operators.
• Ability to commission systems upon completion of field aftermarket upgrades and/or field modifications.
