Bemana is seeking a Field Service Technician in the greater Houston, TX area to travel to industrial production sites troubleshooting and repairing AC VFDs, DC motor controls, and PLCs. Student Loan match Short term and long term disability Job Duties: Performs troubleshooting of VFDs, PLC’s, HMI’s, Motion Controllers, AC/DC drives, and industrial devices for Innovative IDM customers. On-site troubleshooting and electronic repair of simple to complex production machinery Installation and start-up of industrial control systems Performs field retrofits and start-up services of large-scale complex control systems. Self-driven, well organized, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision. Qualifications: Must have 5-7 years of experience troubleshooting industrial electronic controls to include relays, contactors, solenoids and control logic. Must have the ability to read and understand electrical-electronic schematic diagrams. The skill required to troubleshoot, repair, and program AC VFDs and DC motor controls. The ability to troubleshoot PLC’s and Servo motion controllers. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
