Grenier Engineering is located in vibrant Waterbury, Vermont, a 2-minute bike ride from the Perry Hill Trails, 20 minutes from great ski areas, and 5-minutes from the interstate for an easy commute from the Burlington area or Central Vermont.

Water Resources Engineer / Project Manager KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Serve as project manager on all assigned projects and maintain regular contact with key stakeholders to monitor progress, address concerns, and manage expectations.
• Maintain contact with clients throughout entire project including: initial meeting to define project scope, providing an estimate, and providing updates and consulting on options to address various issues arising from the permit process.
• Provide engineering design and drafting as well as work with AutoCAD Technician to develop technical drawings, exhibits, and figures.
• Design stormwater management and stormwater conveyance systems using hydrologic and hydraulic computations and modeling.
• Perform watershed and stormwater studies, erosion and sediment control studies, water quality analysis, and water resource systems modeling.
• Collect monitoring data and perform field reviews of project sites.

Water Resources Engineer / Project Manager QUALIFICATIONS

• BS in Civil or Environmental Engineering + 3 or more years’ experience in water resources and stormwater engineering is preferred, but we welcome applications from highly motivated candidates with fewer years of related experience.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD, Hydro CAD, ArcGIS, MS Office.
• EIT certification or PE candidate preferred.
• Related hydrologic modeling, and database management for tracking projects, a plus.
