At AllEarth Renewables (, our Operations Manager’s diverse responsibilities include leading a great team of dedicated employees; providing lean operational leadership; collaborating with executive peers on strategic needs; and rolling up their sleeves commissioning solar projects and helping with installs and repair and maintenance work.

The Operations Manager will provide strategic vision and hands-on support, guidance, and management to team members in engineering, manufacturing, warehouse, installation, and O&M. Core Responsibilities

Leadership – Dedicated to pursuing the company’s mission, living its core values, and helping foster a success-oriented, supportive, and accountable workplace culture.

Staff Management – Hires, trains, and oversees a cohesive, high-functioning team. Encourages a collaborative work environment that supports personal and professional development, well-being, and positive working relationships.

Operations – Provides day-to-day oversight of production, field work (both O&M and installation projects), safety/environmental compliance, quality, facility maintenance, and upkeep of capital investment.

Processes and Systems – Oversees company production processes including process change and updates, operating procedures, regulatory and safety.


  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in operational and people management, preferably in a company assembling technical products with varying requirements.
  • Broad operations management knowledge, including Lean; planning; scheduling; assembly/production/testing oversight; process and procedure development; measurement and reporting; quality; warranty; warehouse; and safety and regulatory compliance.
  • Hands-on knowledge and application of engineering principles.
  • Knowledge of, and/or degree in, renewable energy and/or mechanical engineering preferred.
  • Ability to manage, support, and develop people.
  • Collaborative, friendly, and forward-thinking approach.
  • Reputation for integrity, honesty and trustworthiness.
  • Orientation to innovation, efficiency, and quality.

Location: The Manager will primarily work on-site, and need to live a commutable distance from both our current location in Williston, VT, and from Bristol, VT, where we will be moving to new, larger facility by the end of 2023.
