Invest your technical knowledge and B2B sales skills in creating a cleaner, more sustainable future for our planet! 

Seeking a tech-savvy, highly personable, and analytical individual to assist with B2B sales of complex scientific and technological products or services to both our dealer network and, through dealers, to end customers. Will help expand our dealer network by vettingand bringing appropriate new out-of-state dealers on board, and educating them on the environmental and economic value of renewable energy sources and products.

Compensation: Starting salary commensurate with qualifications. Robust benefits, including paid sabattical, outlined below.

Core Responsibilities 

  • Initiate and close sales by providing technical expertise to meet the needs of a diversity of customers, many of whom will be new to solar.  
  • Maintain extensive knowledge of Solar Tracker parts, functions, and processes. 

Key Qualifications 

  • A bachelor’s degree in engineering, marketing, business administration, or related field. OR 
  • Demonstrated relevant technical knowledge (electrical, electro-mechanical, etc.). AND
  • Four to six years’ progressively responsible experience in technical product sales, marketing, or customer service, preferably B2B. 
  • Experience in a small business or entrepreneurial environment strongly preferred. 
  • Preferred industry experience: assembly, manufacturing, and/or installation of renewable energy systems. 

Location: The Sales Engineer will primarily work on-site, and need to live a commutable distance from both our current location in Williston, VT, and from Bristol, VT, where we will be moving to a new facility by the end of 2023. Occasional travel may be required to visit dealers and attend trade shows and conferences.
