A multi-disciplinary architectural, engineering and construction firm is currently seeking an entrepreneurial and dynamic Senior Consultant for the Irvine office to support work in construction defect and water intrusion solutions around Orange County. The Waterproofing Consultant will be involved with investigations, and write reports regarding elements of the building envelope. Technical responsibilities may include forensic investigation, organization of forensic data, code research, and report preparation.
Desired Skills and Experience:
Qualified candidates should have expertise in roofing, waterproofing and building envelope systems. Candidates should have experience with repair and re-construction, design and project management of apartments, condominiums, and commercial and government buildings. Candidates should also have experience with mediation, deposition, arbitration and trial and a minimum of 50% of experience supporting the plaintiff. They are looking for candidates that have a current network of attorneys and insurance adjustors in their locale.
Ideal candidates should have a technical (Bachelors or higher) degree in engineering, architecture, construction management or a closely related discipline; a Professional Engineer (PE) or Registered Architect (RA) license is also preferred.
