Our company is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Sales and Marketing Tender Specialist to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in securing new business opportunities through effective tendering processes.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
Experience: Proven experience in sales, marketing, or tender management.
Location: Dar es Salaam
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead the end-to-end process of preparing, submitting, and managing tenders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather relevant information for tender responses.
- Ensure compliance with tender requirements and deadlines.
- Conduct market research to identify potential tender opportunities.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to inform bid strategies.
- Provide insights on pricing and positioning to enhance competitiveness.
- Create compelling and persuasive proposals tailored to client needs.
- Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to incorporate key messaging and value propositions.
- Ensure accuracy, completeness, and adherence to guidelines in all tender submissions.
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with the sales team to understand client requirements and tailor tender responses accordingly.
- Attend industry events to network and identify potential opportunities.
- Track and analyze the success rates of tender submissions.
- Identify areas for improvement in the tendering process and implement necessary adjustments.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proven experience in sales, marketing, or tender management.
- Strong understanding of the tendering process and associated documentation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Familiarity with CRM software and project management tools.
- Ability to analyze and interpret complex data.
