We are looking for an ambitious Tours and Safari Consultant, you will be responsible for designing, planning, and organizing safari and tour packages for clients who are interested in exploring wildlife and natural attractions.

Education: Diploma / Degree in Tourism or Similar Qualification

Experience: Proven experience in travel consulting

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Interact with clients to understand their travel preferences, budget, and interests.
• Provide expert advice on suitable safari destinations, accommodations, and activities.
• Create personalized travel itineraries that include wildlife safaris, cultural experiences, and other attractions.
• Select appropriate accommodations, transportation, and activities based on client preferences.
• Stay updated on wildlife conservation, local cultures, and attractions in various safari destinations.
• Provide clients with detailed information about the destinations, including flora, fauna, and cultural aspects.
• Make reservations for accommodations, transportation, and activities.
• Coordinate with local tour operators, hotels, and transportation providers to ensure smooth execution of the itinerary.
• Address client inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
• Provide pre-trip and on-trip support to ensure a positive travel experience.
• Promote safari packages through various channels.
• Collaborate with marketing teams to develop promotional materials and campaigns.
• Work within client budgets while ensuring a high-quality travel experience.
• Negotiate rates with suppliers to secure cost-effective solutions.
• Prepare and distribute detailed itineraries, travel documents, and essential information to clients.
• Ensure all necessary travel documentation, such as visas and permits, is obtained.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Tourism, Hospitality, or a related field.
• Proven experience in travel consulting, particularly in safari and wildlife tours.
• Strong knowledge of wildlife, conservation, and popular safari destinations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Sales and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Attention to detail and organizational skills.
