Account Manager, Commercial Landscape NY

BraveView has been hired by a well established Commercial Landscape firm who has been successfully servicing Dutchess County, NY and Western Connecticut market to find an Account Manager.

Account Manager position will be responsible for the overall retention and growth of a $1 million portfolio of commercial client accounts located throughout the territory. They will also be responsible for selling enhancements.

An ideal candidate is someone who has been in the green industry or facility maintenance or services industries with experience managing existing accounts in an effort to increase overall customer satisfaction and revenue.

This person will be the main representative of the company in the eyes of the client so relationship building skills, identify clients satisfaction levels, identify potential setbacks, problems or issues in order to solve them quickly, communicate with the operations managers and branch manager on the delivery of services per account, track change orders, finding additional opportunities with existing customers by selling enhancements and driving the overall success of the customer/client relationship and maintain high renewal rates.

Clients are typically Property Management Companies of Class A and B properties, Multifamily and HOA's.

A highly organized and self motivated person who has the drive to succeed is essential as we need someone who gets things done. Follow up skills are critical as there is a need to verify that things have been completed or problems solved to satisfaction level of the client. Both verbal and written communication are very important as this position needs to document and communicate with the client on a regular basis. A positive solution oriented person who is relentless on customer satisfaction and follow through are key to the success of this position. They will also be responsible for running reports and updating data on the internal system and Excel.

The compensation will include a base salary ranging from $65k to 70k plus Commissions, Health benefits, Vehicle, PTO, Cell phone, Laptop, etc.

Qualifications:

  • Proven talent for cultivating relationships with good organizational habits
  • CRM software experience
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Microsoft office a must
  • Strong oral and written skills
  • College degree preferred (Horticulture, Arboriculture, Landscaping, Marketing, Business
  • Management, Landscape Design, etc.), but will consider proven experience in lieu of degree
  • Valid driver's license and good driving record
  • Sales experience is a plus
