Position: Branch Manager
Location: Auburn, AL
Description: Our client is a multi branch landscape company servicing Alabama, North Georgia and parts of TN. They have a $1mm branch located in Auburn, AL which provides Commercial Maintenance in the local market to include Columbus GA.
The branch has one Account Manager and one Ops Manager and 5 maintenance crews. Enhancements are handled from a crew from another branch. This position reports to a Regional Manager and the Branch Manager will also be serving as an Account Manager overseeing the book of business. They will be responsible for managing the Ops Manager on scheduling, Quality Control, Safety, Equipment maintenance and driving efficiencies for the Branch.
The owner wants to hire a great communicator, someone who is highly organized, able to follow up with clients and to train employees on best practices from production to enhancements to account management.
P&L experience, employee training, client relations and operational experience are key responsibilities for this position. They must be able to manage KPI’s, attend and contribute to a variety of meetings, increase the communication with clients and drive the overall growth of the branch.
The BM needs to leverage the usage of Aspire to schedule reoccurring services to be offered as enhancements to clients. Current enhancements are more reactionary due to client requests versus AM being proactive and reaching out to present enhancements opportunities to the client such as Mulch, Pine straw, tree work, irrigation and drainage. Right now, the Branch is doing about $5k per month in enhancements and the HOA clients have the budget to buy more. There are missed opportunities on several levels therefore there is low hanging fruit available to improve to the overall profitability of the branch.
Compensation: $65k base target salary plus Bonus which could be in the 10% range based upon hitting milestones
