Landscape Construction Project Manager
Our client is an Eco Friendly/Green Landscape Contractor who provides beautiful design/build solutions for high end residential properties in the greater Portland Oregon market. Having built a reputation for high quality work, they have grown and have an immediate available position for a Residential Landscape Installation Project Manager to be based out of the Clackamas Oregon location.
As a Project Manager you will be responsible for managing at least 4 installation crews and multiple projects that are in different stages of their cycle. You will be the point of contact to interface with the client and to manage the schedule. When a change order comes up, you will be responsible for all documentation and approvals in order to make the adjustment in the overall program. We need someone who is focused on customer service and efficient management of personnel. This will include providing training, feedback, and assistance as needed to crews, coworkers, and sales in order to increase the likelihood for a successful project and happy customer. In addition, this position is responsible for procurement for your materials and equipment, vendor management and sub contractor relations as we do use subs for certain work.
Applicants must have a degree in landscape management or horticulture and/or have a minimum of 5 years experience in the landscape industry.
Experience and knowledge of irrigation systems, plant ID, hardscaping, LV lighting, other construction industry norms, and full Microsoft Office computer/smartphone skills are required.
This position also requires excellent organizational, leadership, communication, and time management skills. Knowledge of sustainable landscape practices, CLT/CLP, Spanish/English bilingual are all a plus.
This is a full-time position and the company offers a strong compensation plan which includes Health/Dental, 401k and PTO.

$82k - 90k plus, and benefits
Our client is looking for someone who has been in this role and has direct working experience and knowledge of these types of projects. We are not looking to train someone on landscape installation but rather someone who can hit the ground running as the company has a backlog of projects. A typical project is north of $100k and deals with high end residential clients.
