A fast-growing medical device company is expanding its Commercial Sales team and hiring a Territory Account Manager (TAM) to cover South Chicago and Indianapolis. This is a high-visibility role focused on account management, clinical adoption, and utilization growth of a patented, FDA-cleared solution addressing a major pain point in hospital diagnostics.
Our client is redefining diagnostic accuracy in sepsis by commercializing a category-creating technology used in over 500 hospitals nationwide. Its flagship product prevents false-positive blood cultures, improving patient outcomes and hospital economics. What You’ll Tackle
As a TAM, you'll serve as a clinical and strategic partner to key hospital stakeholders—ensuring successful implementation, retention, and growth of assigned accounts. Working closely with Business Directors and channel partners, you will:
Own post-sale success for new and existing accounts
Ensure high product utilization, retention, and expansion
Lead evaluation plans, QBRs, and clinical champion development
Identify and address compliance gaps, usage metrics, and growth triggers
Collaborate with regional leaders and channel sales teams to maximize account impact
Support strategic relationships within IDNs, GPOs, and Centers of Excellence
What's Needed to Win
4+ years in medical device, healthcare sales, or account management
Proven experience in hospital environments (ED, lab, infection prevention, clinical value analysis, etc.)
Strong presentation skills and clinical acumen
Track record of exceeding quota and account retention goals
CRM proficiency (Salesforce.com) and strong sales process discipline
Bachelor's degree (Business, Marketing, or related field preferred)

Compensation & Benefits
Base salary: $70K–$90K
Variable: $80K+ at plan (uncapped, with accelerators)
