Human Resource Generalist
The human resource generalist is responsible for performing the day to day HR-related duties on a professional level and works closely with the HR Director and the organization's senior management.
This position carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas: benefits administration, employee relations, training, performance management, onboarding, policy implementation, recruitment/employment, employment law compliance.
General Accountability: Handles questions, interprets and administers contracts and helps resolve work-related problems and modifies compensation and benefits policies to establish competitive programs and ensure compliance with legal requirements managers on organizational policy matters and recommends needed changes staff vacancies and recruits, interviews and selects applicants and conducts new employee orientations to foster positive attitudes toward organizational objectives training needs and coordinates training activities compensation, benefits, and performance management systems, and safety and recreation programs current and prospective employees with information about policies, job duties, working conditions, wages, and other work-related information recommendations for improvement of the organization's personnel policies and practices records and compiles statistical reports concerning personnel-related data exit interviews to identify reasons for employee termination.
