Buckingham Search is working with an industry-leading provider of SaaS solutions for the risk and insurance industry to fill a Vice President of Sales position. By delivering risk management and insurance core system solutions, this organization has the goal of helping its clients achieve their business objectives through the development of their technology solutions.

As the Vice President of Sales, you will be responsible for driving sales strategy to ensure successful management and coaching of a high-performing sales team. This role requires both leadership and communication skills and experience in building and delivering sales strategy, operations, and hiring and onboarding for the sales team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accountable for the growth success and divisional sales
  • Ensure sales representatives achieve quarterly and annual sales goals
  • Develop and execute outbound sales strategies
  • Drive sales strategy and operational excellence by building a strong rapport with cross-functional stakeholders
  • Manage and develop strategies to develop and maintain consistent pipeline progress and sales strategy of the team
  • Coaching sales staff to ensure quality and productivity
  • Assist in hiring of the Sales team by conducting interviews and providing feedback on potential candidates

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of technology sales leadership experience
  • 5+ years of direct or indirect experience leading sales development functions
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Risk management technology background
  • Familiarity with a CRM, preferably Salesforce
