A (very) Fast Growing Chicago area pharmaceutical company that has grown from a startup with a handful of employees into a multinational, multibillion dollar company with 1200+ employees is looking to hire a new Senior Manager of Pipeline Forecasting. 

As they scale and increase their product portfolio full of treatments for rare diseases, inflammation, ophthalmology, rheumatoid therapy, and more; they are building out their infrastructure. They are focused on creating a robust commercial analytics and pipeline forecasting team to make sure their products keep getting into the hands of the people that need it most. Senior Manager of Pipeline Forecasting

You will be responsible for developing the end-to-end demand and net revenue forecasting process, utilizing both primary and secondary data to build accurate and actionable forecasts. 

Specific Duties:

  • Develop the brand forecast on yearly basis and provide monthly updates for LBEs (latest best estimates)
  • Closely track actuals against key forecast assumptions and determine reasons for variance
  • Forecast any potential life cycle management activities
  • Own clear territory-level view of ongoing sales performance
  • Ensure Tech Ops and Supply Chain teams have accurate quantities to manufacture
  • Effectively communicate results of forecast, assumptions and rationale for decisions to senior leadership and investor relations 

Skills we are looking for:

  • Degree in Analytics, Business, Economics, Statistics, Math or other quantitative discipline
  • 5+ years of experience in pipeline or demand forecasting, data analysis, strategy consulting or other quantitative fields
  • Experience in biotech / pharmaceuticals preferred but not required
  • Direct experience with forecasting is a plus
  • Expert at: Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Proficiency in: SQL, SAS, Access, and other analytical / reporting tools
