My purpose-driven client is seeking a State Income Tax Manager to join our Tax Department! The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with state tax accounting, tax audits, tax planning, and tax compliance. They will also manage the timely and accurate filing of state income and franchise tax returns and identify and execute state tax audit and amended return strategies.

The position operates in a hybrid work environment and will work collaboratively in a multi-entity manufacturing setting. This group is extremely down-to-earth and a fun group to be a part of! 

The successful candidate will:

• Hold a bachelor's degree
• Have at least five years of experience in accounting, finance, or tax, with at least one year of leadership experience.
• Work with State & Income Tax
• Have done Tax provisions
• Experience in working with Alteryx and Franchise tax is a plus!
