Senior Manager, Demand Forecasting - Fast growing firm!

A (very) Fast Growing Chicago area pharmaceutical company that has grown from a startup with a handful of employees into a multinational, multibillion-dollar company with 1000+ employees is looking to hire at the Senior Manager level for their demand/pipeline forecasting team!

As they scale and increase their product portfolio full of treatments for rare diseases; they are building out their infrastructure. They are focused on creating a robust commercial analytics and pipeline forecasting team to make sure their products keep getting into the hands of the people that need it most. They are looking for strategic leaders to drive their growth.

This role will have responsibilities for demand and net revenue forecasting, as well as working directly with sales, marketing, trade, and market access teams to create accurate and actionable forecasts. High visibility to senior leadership and investor relations through communicating results of forecasts and rationale for decisions.

Qualifications and Skills Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Analytics, Business, Economics, Statistics, Math or other quantitative discipline required
  • Master’s degree preferred
  • 7+ years of experience in forecasting, finance, data analysis, strategy consulting or other quantitative fields
  • Demonstrated ability to think creatively and strategically, identify key issues, opportunities, and value drivers, and effectively translate strategic insights into an appropriate analytical framework to drive business decisions
  • Ability to prioritize decisions and activities, ensure efficient use of resources, and take a holistic view of the business in order to ensure efficiencies and alignment with cross-functional stakeholders
  • Forward-thinking, with strong ability to influence multi-disciplinary teams
  • Ability to work well with all levels of employees and demonstrate strong teaming and partnering skills
  • Experience in biotech / pharmaceuticals a plus
  • Expert at Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Proficiency in SQL, SAS, Access, and other analytical / reporting tools
