Buckingham Search is partnering with a top packaging equipment company to find a Business Development Manager. 

Join the ride as a pivotal member of our North American Sales squad. You'll be rubbing shoulders with the North American Sales Manager, collaborating closely with our Key Account Managers (KAMs) to light up some proactive sales strategies. Your spotlight's on hitting those revenue, margin, product, and market share goals within the food, beverage, and personal and household care domains. You'll be cracking open sales tools, surfing market insights, and jamming with teams to carve out short and long-term strategies, jazzing up existing accounts, and sparking up fresh connections within our target markets.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Planning: So, picture this: you're teaming up with our KAMs to drop some serious account-based strategies. Think of it as expanding influence and cooking up new pipelines for those select accounts.
  • Prospecting and Sales Growth: Ready for some action? We're talking “hunter” style sales moves here. You're digging up customer needs, flaunting our unique solutions, and fixing dates with end-users and partners/integrators to pump up our pipeline.
  • Product Know-How and Marketing: Get set to be a product pro. We're talking knowing our product lineup like the lyrics to your favorite song. You'll also team up with the Marketing champs to whip up marketing magic for our target markets.
  • Execution of Principles: It's time to work your mojo with the company toolbox principles. Salesforce, ZoomInfo, LinkedIn - you’ll be riding the sales tech wave and teaming up for those "voice of customer" initiatives.
  • Qualifications:
    • A degree in Business, Marketing, or anything you're passionate about will work (or rock a good chunk of experience).
    • We're talking 5+ years in business development or sales in the capital equipment arena.
    • You're the star who's bagged opportunities, making things happen in targeted accounts and driving fresh business vibes.
    • Suit up for some travel - up to 75% for client action. 
    • You're the communication maestro, even from miles away.
    • If Salesforce, ZoomInfo, LinkedIn, and sales tools are your backup dancers, that's a plus.
    • You've got a knack for building bonds and can groove well in a team.
    • Time management? You're a magician. Projects? You juggle them like a pro.
