Seeking a Senior Internal Auditor to join a collaborative & innovative team and grow the Emerging Risk & Response capabilities within the department. Leveraging Gartner research and other risk insight tools, this individual will maintain & establish controls-based assurance programs, perform operational audits, and support our multi-tenant controls framework testing in ESG (SASB), Cybersecurity (NIST), and other emerging risk areas. This is a hybrid position that will invest 1-2 days per week in the Oakbrook, IL headquarters to cultivate team collaboration & partnership with business stakeholders. This individual should have demonstrated success in hosting effective workshops to understand Management’s current practices relative to common frameworks, identifying key risks and controls, and solutions-oriented recommendations and/or roadmaps for compliance.

Responsibilities:

• Assists the Leadership Team in executing Emerging Risk & Response engagements, assessing organizational operations, processes & controls, and other associated risks
• Identify enterprise risks and recommend mitigation strategies within the multi-tenant framework
• Ensure projects are conducted within budgets and completed timely within the annual audit plan
• Collaborate and maintain strong and productive relationships with business stakeholders to identify opportunities for improvement
• Represent the organization’s leadership framework core values throughout business relationships and engagements

Software

• Prior experience in AuditBoard, SAP, Alteryx or PowerBI is a plus
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, specifically Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
• 3-5 years of operational audit experience in big four, manufacturing, or Fortune 500 companies
• CPA, CIA, CFE, CISA or relevant professional certification

Travel Requirements: Travel Required – 10%
