Our client is a renowned regional carrier in the U.S., operating as the fifth-largest wireless telecommunications network. They are currently looking to hire a Lead Accountant to their team!
As a Lead Accountant, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and leadership abilities by analyzing complex accounting topics, employing critical thinking, utilizing innovative technologies, and guiding other team members. This role primarily involves preparing monthly/quarterly internal financial reports and external SEC filings. You will collaborate closely with Senior Executive Leadership and Investor Relations to ensure optimal reporting to analysts and investors, particularly focusing on MD&A (Management Discussion and Analysis).
They are seeking an energetic individual with a proactive approach to identifying and implementing process and technology improvements. A strong passion for accounting and a desire to learn about the business and technology is essential.
- Resolve accounting issues using innovative approaches.
- Analyze financial reports and records, providing recommendations for both accounting and operational improvements.
- Review and verify the accuracy of journal entries and accounting classifications.
- Manage workload
