Senior Auditor for Global Manufacturing Company

A global multi-industrial manufacturing leader with operations around the world is looking for a Senior Auditor to join the team. The company operates as 400 subsidiary companies, each with a revenue of $40-50 million, and conducts financial audits across 50 countries. The Senior Auditor is responsible for performing professional internal audits, including financial, operational and compliance audits, as well as providing consulting services to management and staff.

Responsibilities:

  • Conducting audit procedures, including identifying issues, defining criteria, reviewing evidence, and documenting client processes and procedures
  • Evaluating the internal control environment and analyzing strengths and weaknesses, with recommendations for improvement
  • Conducting interviews, reviewing documents, administering surveys, preparing summary memos, and composing working papers
  • Identifying, documenting, and communicating audit issues and recommendations using independent judgment
  • Presenting the results of audit projects via written reports in a timely and complete manner
  • Maintaining communication with the In-charge on progress and any difficulties encountered during the audit
  • Performing any additional related tasks as assigned
  • Willingness to travel up to 40%

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting from an accredited college or university
  • 2 to 4 years of full-time experience in auditing within the manufacturing industry
  • Certification or pursuing certification such as CIA, CPA, or CMA is desirable
  • Knowledge of and skill in applying internal auditing and accounting principles and practices
  • Ability to detect and document weaknesses in internal controls
  • Knowledge of the Standards for the Professional Practice of Internal Auditing by the Institute of Internal Auditors
  • Strong data analysis skills, ability to evaluate information, and draw logical conclusions
  • Negotiation skills and problem-solving abilities
  • Proficient in using computers for word processing, spreadsheets, and other business software to prepare reports and analyses
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including active listening and presentation abilities
  • Ability to work effectively in a professional team environment and maintain positive working relationships with co-workers and external contacts
  • Demonstrated professional skepticism
  • Effective time management skills
