Regional Sales Director - Commercial Building Products
Home Based - But, must be within 45 minutes of a major airport

We are looking for someone with the following experience or knowledge:
Successfully managed a team of outside sales reps who are developing business and driving the sales through distribution partners. Experience working with distribution partners is key.
Experience successfully managing a team of sales reps that are calling on all influencers in the project including, but not limited to: architects, specialized installers and contractors, general contractors, and builders.
Past success leading teams selling building products. Experience leading teams selling exterior building products such as glass, windows, doors, access systems, exterior facades, brick, masonry, stone, veneers, cladding, EFIS, and Structural Insulated Panels (SIPs). Experience leading teams in all building products selling to the A+D channel through distribution partners will be considered.
Must have at least 2 years of commercial (Architects + Designers) sales or sales management experience.
Candidates with 5+ years of successful building products sales team management will be given preference.
Experience with SalesForce Sales Cloud is preferred.

Manage the order acquisition process, including managing periodic promotions, continuously complete ride-alongs with your reps to ensure they’re being as effective and efficient as possible. Provide ongoing coaching and development to your reps.
Manage sales forecast and order backlog to ensure accuracy
Manage sales reps activities and effectiveness ensuring they are completing the right activities and getting the expected results.
Travel by plane, train, or your company car to visit all reps in your region regularly. Estimated travel time is 50-60% on a monthly basis.
Work closely with distributors to ensure forecast accuracy, price policies, and use of available tools.
Sales Team Member Management. From determining sales objectives and reviewing performance you will be responsible for your team members success and performance and reporting it to the VP of Sales.
Represent the company with other leaders at marquee events like national conferences, customer trade events, and more.
Provide insight to new product and process development.
Work closely with multiple departments as needed for marketplace changes and customer needs.
