About the Role:
As Controller, you’ll lead the firm’s financial operations with precision and foresight. From managing day-to-day accounting to steering budget strategy and financial reporting, you’ll be a key member of the leadership team—keeping the business side as strong and intentional as the design side.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all daily financial operations
  • Manage general ledger and balance sheet reconciliation
  • Lead cash management and AP/AR functions
  • Handle month-end and year-end close processes, including financial statement preparation
  • Develop and maintain the firm’s annual budget
  • Ensure accuracy of project cost tracking and reporting
  • Provide monthly and quarterly KPI and financial analysis
  • Review client and sub-consultant contracts for financial accuracy

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Minimum of 5+ years of relevant experience (Controller, Accounting Manager, or similar)
  • Experience with Deltek Vision or Vantagepoint (preferred)
  • Advanced proficiency with Excel, Outlook, Word, Adobe Acrobat
  • Excellent communication skills—written, verbal, and interpersonal
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • High attention to detail, accuracy, and follow-through
