Accounting Manager

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Monitor daily activity in cash and credit card accounts, and manage monthly reconciliation
  • Perform reconciliation and reviews of other general ledgers and prepare journal entries
  • Prepare and process payroll
  • Manage payroll reporting and reconciliation
  • Preparation and analysis of Financial Statements
  • Assist in the preparation and analysis of the annual budgets and forecasting
  • Provide information to external auditors
  • File Federal, State and local taxes
  • File California Secretary of State Annual report
  • Accounts Payable – Set up Vendors, review and enter Vendor Invoices, create Purchase Orders, monitor recurring cash disbursements and regularly process Vendor checks, Wire Transfers and credit card payments
  • Accounts Receivable – Enter Cash Receipts, review Cash Payment applications, prepare bank deposit
  • Project Accounting – Review and approve Client Proposals, invoicing, manage Reimbursable Expense Billing, assist in reconciliation of Escrow Accounts, assist Project Managers with the budget
  • Assist in the administration and maintenance of the accounting software
  • Work on miscellaneous or special projects as assigned by the CEO



  • Experience in Interior Design Industry
  • Knowledge of Studio IT/Studio Webware
  • Knowledge of ADP
  • Fluent with Standards, Audit, Accounting, Corporate Finance, Tracking Budget Expenses, Financial Skills, Analyzing Information, Developing Budgets, Performance Management
