Senior Civil Engineer

Location: This role is hybrid and in the greater Atlanta area

Role Overview:

Are you a highly skilled, self-motivated Civil Engineer looking for a challenging and rewarding opportunity? Join our vibrant team of professionals, where your expertise will contribute to a variety of dynamic projects. You will play a key role from project entitlements and preliminary design to construction documents and administration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Management: Oversee multiple, concurrent projects, ensuring timely and budget-conscious delivery.

  • Leadership: Guide design teams with your technical expertise, fostering collaboration and innovation.

  • Client Interaction: Build and maintain long-term client relationships, ensuring satisfaction and repeat business.

  • Technical Excellence: Perform hydrologic and hydraulic calculations, technical studies, mapping, civil construction documents, and earthwork calculations.

  • Mentorship: Support and mentor junior staff, promoting their professional growth and development.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.

  • Certification: Professional Engineer (PE) registration required; Georgia registration preferred.

  • Experience: Minimum of 8 years in land development projects, including life sciences, commercial, office, higher education, mixed-use, residential, healthcare, municipal, and / or Federal projects.

  • Skills: Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D, strong written and verbal communication skills, excellent time management, and specification preparation experience preferred.

  • Regional Knowledge: Stormwater experience in Georgia and Southeast USA is highly desirable.

  • Personal Attributes: Ability to foster long-term client relationships and lead project teams effectively.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Salary: $90,000 to $120,000 based on experience.

  • Bonuses: Potential signing bonus and competitive end-of-year discretionary bonus.

  • Overtime: Paid overtime possible.

  • Work Schedule: Enjoy a hybrid work schedule (subject to change).

  • Retirement: 401k.
