Bulls Eye Recruiting is looking for a VP Sale with B2B SaaS experience.  An individual with experience in the HR, HCM, HR Tech field is highly preferred.  The VP of Sales is responsible for the overall design, implementation, and execution of the company’s sales strategy. This person is also responsible for creating a highly productive sales team, which focuses on results while creating a positive work environment. Working closely with the CEO, the VP of Sales will hold a leadership position in the company and will be constantly mentoring members of the sales team.

Key Tasks and Duties

  • Works closely with CEO to develop a customer acquisition strategy with a focus on channel partner sales
  • Responsible for managing all operations of the sales funnel from lead generation to sales
  • Responsible for creating and executing lead generation strategies including managing team and outsourced lead generation activities and using own professional network for lead generation
  • Builds and develops a sales team capable of executing partner acquisition strategy and achieving sales goals
  • Provides ongoing coaching, training and mentoring to sales team
  • Establish sales targets to meet company near-term and long-term revenue goals
  • Utilizes a CRM to manage partner relationships and accurately forecast future sales
  • Prepares weekly reports to CEO and the Board of Directors on sales revenue
  • Recommends metrics to assist CEO in monitoring sales performance
  • Works closely with VP Customer Success to ensure that partners have success selling
  • Performs ongoing reviews of sales process and makes recommendations for improvement
  • Is responsible for holding team members accountable to the expectations and standards related to client's culture
  • Rolls sleeves up to lead pitches/demos, trade shows and manage prospective customer relationships until the sale is closed
  • Is responsible for developing and executing strategies for renewal sales and customer relationships
  • Is responsible for working existing sales channels and vertical markets, and developing new sales channels and vertical markets
  • Lead and communicate with excellence and passion about selling world-class products
  • Inspire and motivate team to provide excellent customer service to deliver highest quality products
  • Lead in a dynamic environment, innovating with sales strategies to maximize revenue and partner success, using leadership style aligned with company culture

Required Skills / Experience

  • Eight (8) years of experience leading sales operations, pricing functions, and teams
  • Proven ability to grow revenue through sales operations practices
  • Knowledge of structuring sales quota goals and revenue expectations
  • Proven track record for sales success with pitches/demos and trade show appearances
  • Passion for a career in business development, sales, and marketing of technology
  • Is motivated, self-driven, and resourceful
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and a willingness to take on new tasks in a fast-paced setting
  • Demonstrates leadership by doing what’s right; a team player that practices integrity
  • Excellent communication skills: listening, great writing, and interpreting technical content
  • High aptitude for the use of the web-based tools for sales and marketing purposes
  • Knowledge of technology, software, data management, web-based services (SAAS), B2B solutions
  • Successful track record of assessing, critical thinking, problem solving, and embedding process optimizations into the organization
  • Experience with and knowledgeable in approaches related to building high functioning teams and organizations



This position requires travel. Most travel is outside the local area and overnight. Some of the travel may be international.
