Bulls Eye Recruiting is looking for a Sales Manager to recruit, hire, train, and manage a staff of 5 field sales representatives in Houston, Texas. The organization this individual will be supporting is a regional auto parts franchise that is one of the most successful and profitable franchises in the United States.
Our client has injected cutting edge technology, enormous buying power and great vendor relationships with locally owned and operated franchised businesses to provide the best solution for the wholesale auto parts industry.
What they need now is a skilled sales manager to manage field sales reps in one of the largest territories in Texas for the franchise. This individual must have great leadership skills and it is not necessary for them to have industry experience.
This individual will help the field reps and make sure they are consistently hitting their goals. This person will be building the team which includes developing, mentoring and leading the field sales reps.
A typical field sales rep makes approximately 100 visits a week (20 a day) and has a strong understanding of the automobile industry also. The sales manager will go on ride- a longs with the the reps and making sure they have all of the support necessary to be successful.
The field sales manager will come to the HQ approximately 20% of the time working with Senior Leadership. Most of their day will be consumed with being in the field.
