We are assisting a very well respected acute hospital in Southern New Mexico. Great opportunity for an experienced oncology pharmacist wanting to take their career to the next level. Management role, will be working directly under the director of pharmacy. You will have an intricate part in a new oncology program that is being developed with the arrival of a new highly respected Oncologist joining the department.

  • This position will be in charge of managing the oncology pharmacy section of the division, including developing, monitoring, evaluating and coordinating oncology services that promote desirable patient outcomes.
  • The PCOC will develop and implement policies, procedures, process guidelines, and protocols to ensure the provision of safe, effective and economical pharmacotherapy for all patients in the hospital, ensuring compliance with clinical oncology practice standards as well as Joint Commission and applicable federal, state and local laws and regulatory standards.

Education Requirements:

  • PharmD
  • Completion of PGY2 (Oncology Residency) highly preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience as an oncology pharmacist.
  • Must have current hospital experience as a clinical pharmacist.
  • No retail pharmacists will be considered at this time per clients request.
