Job Description

We are assisting a well-respected hospital system in the great state of Wild, Wonderful West Virginia. It is home to one of the highest volume heart programs in the United States. We're in search of a Critical Care Pharmacist to oversee all inpatient pharmacy operations.This will be a true CC Specialist role with a very progressive pharmacy department.

Duties:

• Responsible for managing the medication use process – prescribing, dispencing, administration, and monitoring – throughout the medical center
• Applies advanced knowledge about drugs and drug therapy to the care and treatment of patients
• Provides advanced clinical services independently and assesses the clinical skills of clinical staff pharmacists

Qualifications:

• Completion of PGY2 residency highly preferred OR equivalent experience
• Bachelor Degree PHARMACY AND Doctorate in Pharmacology or Pharmacy
• All licensure must be current/valid and from the state of West Virginia
• Basic Life Support – Must be certified within 30 days of hire
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support – Must be certified within 1 year of hire
